Gill Insulation was founded in 1948 by Commander Norman Gill & was originally based in Stoke to serve the potteries. The Nottingham site was the next branch to open, this is where the Gill Group retains its Head Office, working alongside operations in Ipswich. Gill Insulation was later acquired by Encon Insulation Ltd in 1986.

To celebrate Gills’ 70^th year in the business, we organised a party night on the 12^th of May, where we invited staff, suppliers and ex/retired staff to help us celebrate. We enjoyed an evening of food/drinks and the opportunity for people to meet and mix with those whom they don’t often get the chance to catch up with. The whole night went down a success with a 5 piece band and a DJ. Considering the feedback given, the 70^th Anniversary party was a night to remember!
